Founding Vision
Dr. Jonathan de Pass founded Evaluate plc in 1996. Formerly a top-ranked pharma analyst in the City of London, he saw the need for a reliable source of consensus estimates in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries, and in 1998, the first commercial version of EvaluatePharma® was released on CD-ROM.
From the start, the intention was to provide commercial data in a format that facilitated easy access and in-depth analysis.
Since 2002 EvaluatePharma® has been available online, delivering enhanced functionality and providing access to the very latest data.
In 2007, with the release of EvaluatePharma® Alpha, Dr de Pass realised his ambition to offer a credible off-the-shelf valuation service for anyone looking for value in the pharma and biotech sector.
